PURIM BAGS FOR WEINBERG RESIDENTS

Purim’s coming, and one of the great things KOT does is prepare and deliver mishloach manot bags to residents of Weinberg Campus (Dosberg). If you’re interested in participating in this project, please put together 10-15 bags and bring them to the megillah reading on Saturday night March 15th. Barb Chazen is organizing the delivery.

A Few Suggestions:

Fill the bags with at least two kinds of food

No nuts, dried fruit or sticky foods please

Label the bag with something like “Happy Purim from Kehillat Ohr Tzion”

NEW! MISHNAH CAFE!!  Add an hour of learning to your week in a comfortable “cafe” environment.  With a chevruta (study partner) or alone, you’ll work your way through the fundamental text of the Oral Torah, the Mishna. If you’ve never studied Mishna before, you will be surprised at how engaging, fun and doable it is!  No prior skills necessary; Hebrew/English text will be provided.

Sunday nights 7-8 pm at the Strosberg home beginning this week (Feb. 16).
